About Richard Curtis:
Richard Curtis has been training dogs for nearly twenty years and entered his first Heelwork (heelwork is the UK equivalent to Freestyle) to music competition in 1999 where he won the starters class.
From there he has become a well know trainer, judge and competitor in the sport. He has been requested by the Kennel Club to perform with his dogs in the special events ring at Crufts as well as demonstrating how to start training a dog for this discipline in the Good Citizen ring.
Richard now teaches courses and workshops for clubs throughout the country as the interest in the sport has snowballed in recent years.
Richard has successfully competed at many of the events, for the past few years he has won a class at the prestigious Heelwork to music show held at Coventry each year by Rugby dog training club. Below are just some of the comments judges have written about his performances....
