Sharlene Rochen

While a part-time obedience instructor, Sharlene has also been involved in fostering dogs for the past 5 years. She enjoys the rewards of working with rescues and helping them adjust while they find their permanent pet parents.

As a result, she has three fur-kids, Baxter, Bailey and Dewey - all rescues. Baxter is an out-going Shepard mix who loves going to new places and learning new things. His opposite, Bailey, gets a lot of self-confidence work, as he would be happy to never leaving home. Found wandering a busy street, Dewey is a 4 month old Border Collie mix and the newest addition to the family. He was initially a foster pup, but Sharlene fell in love with him and couldn't give him up.

Sharlene and Baxter are currently working on their first freestyle routine and taking agility classes for fun and exercise. Baxter seems to excel at both, while Sharlene is still working on coordination and handling skills. She hopes that with a little clicker training she will become as good at freestyle and agility as Baxter.
